Dragon Fire: Aeons – Bloodstains video
Isle Of Man’s premier progressive metal band, Aeons, have just dropped a new video for fan favourite, Bloodstains.
Members of the Slow Dragon Music hardcore will recall we hosted this magnificent bunch of chaps at Hordes X in 2022. We were totally blown away by their ability to fully reproduce their luxuriously textured harmonies on stage.
As part of the process, we also interviewed the band, with guitarist Simon Harvey proclaiming
“The core of AEONS is our choruses. For me, that’s 100% the most important part. People need to be able to hum your melodies. That’s what makes you memorable. I hope that has worked!“
This also included our short review of Consequences, saying “Tentacles emerge as Consequences progresses, unveiling a band far, far beyond their status.” It even racked up a highly respectable “A+”. Something we don’t hand out that often.
Swaying with urban metalcore & hyper melodics, but always maintaining that prog edge, this was one of the most memorable tracks of that run. Intensely heavy when it needs to be, and hauntingly beautiful in between. Check it out below!
