M2TM 2024 All Dates For Scotland
All dates for 2024’s Scottish Metal 2 The Masses are now booked, at various venues around the country!
From Glasgow and Edinburgh, up to Fraserburgh and Inverness, the quest is on to bring the best in Alba’s heavy music scene to Bloodstock Open Air’s live metal initiative. Some regions are already filling up, so any bands who want to take part should get in touch immediately! All you have to do to apply is email slowdragonmusic@gmail.com with your location, and links to your music and videos. Tickets will be going up in our EVENTS page, where you can already find ‘blind bird’ tickets for the Grand Final.

Saturday 18th – Grand Final – La Belle Angele, Edinburgh
PROGRESSION
Participating bands will start at their nearest Heat, unless otherwise discussed. From each Heat, two winners will progress to their nearest Semi-final (Inverness and Fraserburgh to Aberdeen; Glasgow and Bathgate to Glasgow; Edinburgh and Fife to Edinburgh; and Dundee to Dundee, joined by the top two runners up from across all the Heats). Only one band will then progress from each of the Semi-finals, to the Grand Final in Edinburgh, where they will be joined by one top runner up from across all the Semi-finals.
So, even if you don’t go through on the night, don’t book yourselves out elsewhere for the next round – you might still make it all the way to the final!
Even if you don’t end up playing the big shindig in May, we still want all the bands who get on board to be part of something bigger than just a few shows. Part of a growing community. To this end, if you play in the Heats at all, we’ll be putting your name down for a (non-transferable) guest-list spot at the Grand Final.
