Hordes X 2024 Final Lineup
The full and final lineup for 2024’s Hordes X festival has been announced with the addition of eight more bands!!!
Scotland’s oldest metal fest is right around the corner, and the full lineup has just gone live! Taking place September 26th – 29th, 2024, at Beat Generator Live and Roots Music Venue, in Dundee the event will now be joined by two more bands for each of its four days.
The Thursday warmup show will see in Edinburgh harsh metalcore crew, Kakihara, along with prog/death Metal 2 The Masses winners of 2021, Nassau.
Unfortunately, Bloodshot have had to pull out of the running. However, Aberdonian heavy metallers, Volupta, and 80s black-thrashers, Evil Blood, jump into the Friday.
The already huge Saturday bill is bolstered by former members of Nocturne Wulf in the guise of Crusaders, as well as local noise brigade, Wreaking Joy.
Finally, on the Sunday cooldown, we’re chucking some blackened doom at you all with Granite City’s Dreich, and ultimately wrapping the whole affair with a right knees up, courtesy of The Gallowgate Murders.

Tickets
The two main days of Hordes X 2024, on the Friday and Saturday at Beat Generator, have day tickets available in extremely limited numbers!
Friday, the shorter of the two, featuring The Infernal Sea, Ante-Inferno, Melted Messiah, and more, is on sale at £20.
With more acts, including Thulcandra, Solar Sons, Brainbath, and many others, Saturday day tickets are going at £30. Prices are subject to booking fees.

*Weekend tickets cover entry to all four days, but access to the Warmup and Cooldown shows at Roots Music Venue will be provided on a “first come, first served” basis, with a limited capacity. Once all spaces have been claimed, whether by weekend ticket holders, or purchased on the door, further admittance will be denied. Get down early to avoid disappointment. Day tickets only cover single day entry to Beat Generator Live.

More about Hordes X:
Run by Slow Dragon Music as an all-dayer since 2010, Hordes X has dominated the last Saturday of every September North of the border, bringing the best in the underground together with bands such as Hellripper, Man Must Die, Saor, and Acid Reign. Now, it has broken loose, opening up to four days, over two venues, and three stages.
The event has played an important part in the early stages of many heavy music acts, platforming the likes of Party Cannon, Dog Tired, King Witch, De Profundis, Krysthla, and more. It has carved a name as highlight of the Scottish metal calendar, and the place to discover the best new and emerging bands. 2024 sees the fest stretch to new heights, and is set to be something truly special.
