Chapter II is now unleashed!
The darkness continues to descend as the prodigious From the Vastland unleash the second single from their forthcoming ninth studio album, Servant of Ahriman, with an official video that drags us further into their world.
Following Chapter I, Decadence, this latest offering gives us a further taste of what awaits when Servant of Ahriman finally emerges on 11 September 2026, released through German label Crawling Chaos.
Anyone who knows me, knows I have a super-serious soft spot for this band!
From the Vastland are one of those acts that have been a constant source of excitement for me, so the fact that we’re now approaching studio album number nine is pretty damn special, (insert massive Christmas present hint to Mr Slowdragon!)
Nine albums deep, and still embracing the ethos, darkness and unwavering passion that have made this band such a consistently compelling force, it feels like there’s still plenty more to come from From the Vastland.
But enough fan-girling from me. This is about the new chapter.
Servant of Ahriman is getting closer by the day, and Chapter II, Ahriman, Triumphant! is another tantalising glimpse beneath the surface of what promises to be an absolute onslaught.
