If you’re familiar with Scotland’s Northern scene, you’ll know it delivers some really strong heavy talent. This year, though, The Endless North, are the only Inverness natives to feature on their hometown M2TM Heat.
“We don’t why were the only local band this year” they ponder.
“The talent up here is top notch, and still growing. We feel like The Tooth & Claw draws new bands in all the time, as its an excellent venue, as well as being a good scene within every community. Plus, it’s in the capital of the Highlands – why wouldn’t bands want to come here? The heavy scene is excellent for the area. The talent up north is amazing and we are now seeing more heavy bands starting up, and thats great to see.“
Inverness, however, isn’t the only home for hard rock and heavy metal in the Highlands. For instance, the band were recently invited to Forres Fest….
“We had a great time heading over to play Forres Fest” they say.
“It was a really good experience for us getting out of Inverness. The event held in a town hall in Forres. It was put on by Black Flame Promotions, and they did a great job of putting everything together. The event gathered many others band from all Scotland. Our experience was great. The scene that way is amazing. We felt so welcome, and it was a pleasure to play.“
On the recorded front, it doesn’t sound like we’ll have to wait too long to hear some material from The Endless North.
“We are hoping to get into the studio soon and get some tracks done and get them released as soon as we can.“
But they are still playing their cards close to their chests. “We unfortunately can’t reveal any titles for the recordings as of yet. We’re aiming to get a full ep out of recording as we’ve been working really hard on getting our song as tight as we can so that they sound the best they can for when we start getting the tracks recorded.“
