Hordes X 2025 Blind Bat Tickets On Sale
Scotland’s oldest metal fest is back for its fifteenth edition!
If you know the Scottish metal scene, you’ll know Hordes X. A bastion of emerging heavy talent North of the UK border, it has been the place to discover your new favourite riff pedallers for a decade and a half. As a well-curated collection of hot grassroots artists, it has provided an early platform for bands such as Party Cannon, King Witch, Dog Tired and Ramage Inc. It also dropped the first UK festival headline slots for the likes of Saor, Hellripper, and more.
2025 sees the Hordes X family set up home in a new location. Set for September 5th & 6th, this year’s edition will take place at the adjoining Dundee venues of Hidden and Music Hall Dundee. The Friday will be held as a special, extended session of the growing Mosh Monthly event series, with the main show taking place across both stages on the Saturday.
We now welcome Kevvymetal Promotions into the core operations of the festival.
Kev Marshall has proven himself to be a massive asset in assisting with our other events, and collaborating on Mosh Monthly, and we are extremely happy to have him fully on board for Hordes X.
Behind the curtain, a lot of work has already gone into building another bill stacked with heavy and extreme metal character, unseen anywhere else. The first big batch of bands will be announced soon, but until then we have a treat for you…
Blind Bat tickets have just been launched in limited numbers, allowing you to grab full access to both dates for just £10!!! With this announcement, we are also opening up the first round of Hordes X band applications!
Please note, this is only for the Saturday, as the Mosh Monthly Warmup is fully booked! Key genres are extreme metal (death, black, doom, heavy thrash) and old school, but we also have a soft spot for the weird.
