Killscythe, Visha, and The Goatboy Hit Perth

Killscythe, Visha, and The Goatboy Hit Perth

The Fair City’s latest thrash upstarts play their first ever hometown show this Halloween weekend!

Slow Dragon Music is back in Perth, for our first show in a few years. And it’s a doozy! At our previous haunt of The Twa Tams – which played host to the Smashed, Trashed, and Neckwrecker event series – we’ve brewed up a special batch of hometown heroes for October 30th.

The town’s latest heavy hitters, Killscythe, make their very first live appearance in their own locale, bringing rough-edged melodic thrash to bear. Many of you will recall the members from their former bands, Ifreann, and the incredible Blackened Ritual! They are onlt a couple of shows in, but having heard behind the scenes, we reckon they have the potential to take off. Best catch them on the ground floor!!! Watch our previous interview with the band, just prior to their Hordes X appearance last month: https://www.slowdragonmusic.com/features/hordes-x/killscythe-hordes-x-2025/

Chasing right behind them are another band with a great local metal pedigree: Visha! With members having contributed to acts such as Catalysis, The Paradigm Complex, and more, you know you’re in for something special. This is an epic alt-metal sound, not to be missed. Check out their video for Garden below as a taster:

And finally, our opening act, The Goatboy, have been hammering home the message that grunge ain’t dead for a long time. It looks like the rest of the world is finally starting to catch up with them, but this trio are true OGs (old goats). Always a heap of good honest fun. Catch Delirium below:

This event is FREE ENTRY, so all you have to do is turn up and rock out!!! We hope to see many familiar faces, and some new ones, too. It has been too long, and we do apologise. Let’s get it together, throw the horns, bang our heads, and wreck our necks!!!
